Why it started
At the start of 2026 Dusty weighed more than 520 pounds and decided something had to change. He started walking, then lifting, then working on the mental side with therapy.
On those walks he kept seeing trash, so he started picking it up. That turned into going back on purpose, and then into regular community cleanups.
What Dustywalks77 is for
Three jobs, one walk: Better Mind. Better Health. Better Community. Work on yourself, and leave the place a little better than you found it.
Not a before-and-after
This isn't a finished transformation and Dusty isn't a fitness guru. It's an ongoing walk, posted as it happens, good weeks and the other kind.
Where the name and the drawing come from
Dusty + walks + 77, his old football number.
The drawing is by his daughter: Dusty in an orange cap and a COOL GUY shirt, grabber in hand, under a sun wearing sunglasses. Everywhere it appears on this site, it's exactly as she drew it.
